I had a birthday a couple days ago and twenty three. I know...I'm old ;)
John took me to Traverse City for the day because I had never been there before. It was only a day trip, however we had an amazing time. Our trip included a trip to the mall, walking the beach, brunch at a local restaurant, wine tasting, random stops for pictures, my first cosmopolitan (which was strong and bitter), a walk along Front Street, an especially nice dinner, and great conversation. It was a great day.
The next night, my dearest friends met us for a fun night at Pints and Quarts, where I had my second cosmopolitan (to see if the last was drastically better than my first one...which it was). I also was able to get to know two of my dearest friends significant others much better...so that was great. Also, it was the first night Adam and Amber had been out since Baby Olivia was born, so that was ever better.
Al in all... my first two days as a twenty three year old were fabulous =)
